September is about to end, we started in the autumn and with it, school start, return to routine, long meetings, task lists… But September is a good moth to reflect, to think about the achievements of the previous course and to set your goals for this new beginning. It’s the ideal time to start again, to leave behind everything that doesn’t allow you to improve and meditate what you want to become in the future.
For this reason, we leave you with five advice that we consider essential in order to organise this new phase.
1. Mark your goals
First, you must consider your goals for this new course. Propose new challenges and goals, be clear about your ambitions and think what you want to achieve. That is why it entreis important to reflect and to set challenging but achievable objectives.
2. List tasks
To reach your final goals, it is essential to mark the steps to follow in time. Mark monthly task, what do you want to achieve this month? When you have this list, organize the tasks per week, from more to less urgent. And finally, mark your daily tasks. It is important to have an up-to-date goal and work towards that. That way, you’re eliminating every day a job done, and you’ll be closer to your goal.
3. Prioritize and classify
Priority is a very hard-working task. You must think about what targets are most important or urgent, you have to differentiate them from the jobs they can expect. Another very important task is to know what your strengths and weaknesses are. Self-knowledge is necessary to know which tasks will be more difficult or require more time. It is important to put these tasks in the right place so as not to delay their handing. These tasks may then have to be prioritised in order not to prolong delivery.
4. Use tools to help you
An agenda will be your main ally in planning you. Point all tasks, important date, meetings, submissions… You can also use calendar as more visual support. Rate all the material you need to work on, such as notebooks, bullet journals, planners, carpeblocks… Choosing the tools that helps you in the process is essential.
5. Remove distractions and don’t forget breaks
It is essential to make the decision to depart from all elements that can prevent you from achieving your goals. It’s also important to value activities outside your daily routine that help you to be good personally, to be mentally healthy to help you archive the goals. It’s important to do everything that makes you happy for your emotional, mental and physical stability.
